It has been an adventure finding places to stay for The Trip. I found Darlyne online a few months back and she has helped us a ton. She is SO thorough and she and her husband love to travel and help other people travel. We would highly recommend her!
Here are the places we are staying. Our goal was to (as much as possible) find apartments that were comfortable, but also that were in neighborhoods. We want to get a feel for the culture- no Holiday Inns for us on this trip!

Okay, before I read this I was jealous... now I am beyond jealous. How fun! I (like nosey Annie) like to know the details. I can't wait to see pics and hear stories when you are home.
We are staying in the... oh, I can't remember the name of the place, but it has "Music" in the name! on the Grand Canal when we go to Venice. Too bad it's not at the same time as you, because how cool would it have been to meet up there?!!!
And this is a really great idea, organization-wise. I might have to blog-lift it!
