In His Dreams

We've been home for about 17 hours now. I awoke exactly at midnight, maybe to be able to enjoy today the fullest? (My 30th birthday), or possibly because it was 9am in Germany. (Much more likely) Either way, my little C awoke at 2am, also ready to take on the day. We snuggled on the couch, and both fell asleep for an hour or so. He woke me up with his sleep talking.

"No! Ice cream! ICE CREAM!"

I giggled, and snuggled back in. Then about 5 minutes later,

"All done, choo choo train? All done?"

I can only attribute these little phrases to a 'post-trip' dream because these are things we FREQUENTLY heard on our adventure. (We ate a LOT of ice cream and rode SEVERAL trains!)

Happy Birthday...and I am soooo thrilled you brought Maddy in today, the kids were happy and I was very happy to see you all! Glad you are home safe and sound! And if Pam reads this...I soooo can't believe she didn't take the day off to be with you on your birthday and do your laundry! Geez! And to let all of you know...Sarri is the best! She brought her daughter in to say hello to the class and brought her teacher(that would be me) a very yummy Starbucks! I bet Starbuck's Mac is very happy to see Sarri home too! As Ty would say on Extreme Home...Welcome Home Gibson Family...Welcome Home!!!!!!

What a happy, happy day when you were born 30 years ago! So much joy wrapped up in a little preemie baby. Size 0 hung on you as did your own skin!! You have brought joy to so many people throughout your 30 years. It has gone so quickly! Now, I watch as you mother your children, and are a wife to your husband. You amaze me with your many talents and abilities. I love how you mother your children so individually. You are a gift! I love you so much. I'm glad you are home. Auntie Beck
