water to fresh lemonade.
I mentioned yesterday that the owner of our apartment (we don't know
her name) gave us a bag full of fresh lemons. It was very nice, and
also a bit funny because we are traveling with very little (what were
we going to do with 20 huge lemons???). Later we discovered our
apartment came with a lemon squeezer, so yesterday M and J went to buy
sugar, and G helped squeeze lemons, and we enjoyed some fabulous fresh
lemonade. It was so delicious!!! While I fully intend to make fresh
lemonade at home this summer, I am sure we will never find lemons like
this in the Willamette Valley. Here along the Mediterranean, they pick
them from the trees in their terra cotta pots, gardens, and terraces.
Delicioso!

Yum! I remember when we were in Sorrento (about 400 miles sw of where you are now) they served shot glasses of pure lemon juice with breakfast every morning. It was tart, but oh SO delicious! You have my mouth watering!
"Nice and FRESH!"--Wow, same quote I hear around here ALL the time! Imagine that. Hee hee. :)
My favorite part of tuning into your blog is to hear what Garrett's slogan of the day is!! It just makes me giggle! It sounds like all the kids are blossoming from being with their parents in this new environment.
